What we do
Refugee Radio is more than just a refugee charity. Many of the people we work with have survived traumatic experiences such as war, torture and sexual violence. We use radio and the media to raise awareness of their situation, enable their voices to be heard and to campaign for human rights.
We work with refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants. We provide practical support and advice as well as cultural activities in order to help individuals and promote social change.
We run a mental health support and resilience group every Monday at 3-5pm, for people who identify as refugees or asylum seekers. It is on a drop in basis, so please feel free to come along.
It is held at our office at Community Base in Brighton.
